Warmest Christmas Greetings

Blessings Abundant on the New Year and the New Millennium

  Our prayer is that all the perfect will of God be done in you in all the days that are ahead.

 

Christmas is Jan. 7^th here, so this greeting is not late J

One of the blessings of being here is that we do not have to get involved in all the preoccupation with Christmas the whole month of December.  Although we miss it, it is nice to concentrate on making Jesus known to hungry hearts rather than to celebrate His birth while ignoring Him.

This Christmas we are truly thankful that Jesus came.  Were it not for Him my family and my wonderful children would not exist, I (Bill) would have most probably died in some Asian mountain or jail or drug den, and that would have been the end of my story.  But Jesus did come and He showed great mercy on me, for which we are thankful.

Had Jesus not come all these dear people here who are getting saved, healed and delivered from the Devil’s hold would still be sitting in darkness and despair and debauchery.  But Jesus did come and now they shake the heavens with their praises of the one who set them free.

Had Jesus not come think where you would be right now.

What was it like for Him to leave heaven.  Where hosts of angels waited on Him.  Where He dwelt in Glory, Majesty and Love.  Where all he had ever known was goodness, love and favor.  To leave it all to come to the wretched Earth, and dwell among it’s fallen, wicked and rebellious race.  Seeking to save them, but knowing they only wanted to kill him.

Who can fathom this kind of love?  Not I.  But I will accept it and believe it and live to spread it far and wide.  May our Lord grant you the opportunity to do the same.
